Partnering with Jacksonville Families
Helping Hands Families Alliance is a local Jacksonville nonprofit dedicated to supporting families in our community. Our mission is to uplift children and families by providing meaningful assistance, hope, and resources where they are needed most. Through our annual Christmas Drive and ongoing initiatives throughout the year, we are committed to making a positive impact right here at home. We believe that when a community comes together, even small acts of kindness can create lasting change.
Our Story
Helping Hands Family Alliance is a new nonprofit serving the Jacksonville, Florida community. Founded by Jenna Cook, the organization was born from a clear need she observed firsthand—gaps in local donation efforts. Jenna noticed that many Christmas toy drives were run by large organizations that didn’t always directly benefit Jacksonville families, and that many people wanted to give back but didn’t know where to donate or who to contact. Determined to bridge that gap, she set out to create a more personal, transparent way to serve local families.
That vision began with a partnership with Head Start Orange Park, Helping Hands Family Alliance’s first donation partner, and has grown significantly over the past two years. In 2024, with the support of her sister, Olivia Scioscia, Jenna officially formed Helping Hands Family Alliance.
The organization prides itself on ensuring that each child receives a gift they specifically request and that every donation comes with a 100% guarantee of where it is going—because the team personally delivers each one. Though small in size, Helping Hands Family Alliance is driven by a deep passion and unwavering dedication to supporting children and families throughout the Jacksonville community.
